The Meeting You Can’t Afford to Miss

Don't miss this year's AAO-HNSF Annual Meeting & OTO EXPO in Orlando. The AAO-HNSF Annual Meeting & OTO EXPOSM is the premier education and networking event for the otolaryngologist-head and neck surgery community. More than 5,500 of the brightest and most talented medical experts from around the globe will convene for this unique once-a-year opportunity to share practical, comprehensive knowledge and advance the specialty. This year’s destination is sure to delight attendees.

“Offering family-friendly activities, sunny days, and blue skies, Orlando is a top vacation site and a favorite for medical meetings,” said Mary Pat Cornett, senior director, Education and Meetings.

The Instruction Course and Scientific Program include more than 300 continuing education sessions offering new skills and ideas for you to start using immediately. Our education program ends at noon on Wednesday, allowing us to offer concurrent Instruction Course and Scientific Programming Wednesday morning. “The final day offers something for everyone. I encourage you to take advantage of the variety of engaging education sessions on Wednesday before you head home and put everything you’ve learned to use,” said Richard W. Waguespack, MD, AAO-HNS President.

Oral Presentations continue to be a favorite among attendees. The shorter five-minute accelerated oral presentations have been expanded this year. These fast-paced talks were extremely popular last year, so this successful and engaging learning format has been expanded this year for all orals. Additionally, the “Best of Orals” session Sunday morning will include select talks from each of our nine specialty tracks.

The OTO EXPOSM returns with hands-on demonstrations and Q&A about innovative, new products and technology that can help you improve your practice and enhance patient care. Be sure to check the schedule for OTO EXPOSM hours.

The popular and highly attended President’s Reception has moved to the OTO EXPOSM show floor! Taking place from 6:00-7:30 pm on Sunday, September 21, this reception does not conflict with any other official programming and offers you the chance to network and socialize while viewing the latest tools and resources available from our exhibitors.

For attendees interested in being published, we strongly encourage you to attend “View from the Editors: Peer Review, Publishing, and the Editorial Process” Monday morning.

“And since all of this education, networking, and excitement is bound to make you work up an appetite, we’re pleased to offer an all-day meal voucher,” Cornett said. “It’s one of the many improvements we’ve made to the event based on feedback from attendees.”
