The passport, available inside the printed copy of the Final Program, guides you to Academy and Foundation booths outside of the main exhibit hall, where you’ll learn about the valuable resources available to Members. Receive a stamp at each booth and return your completed passport to the Member Resources booth for your chance to win daily and Grand Prizes, including free registration and accommodations for the AAO-HNSF 2015 Annual Meeting & OTO EXPO in Dallas!

Academy Technology Center- Outside Hall B

Visit the Academy Technology Center to learn more about the digital resources developed to help you here and online. Staff and committee member volunteers will be available to demonstrate, answer questions, and listen to suggestions regarding such resources as ENTConnect, www.entnet.org, PQRS Wizard®, Patient Safety Portal, and digital resources for the Annual Meeting.

AcademyU-Outside Hall B

Visit the AcademyU Learning Center to learn more about the education opportunities the AAO-HNS Foundation has to offer. Staff will be available to demonstrate all of the Foundation education products, answer your questions, and listen to suggestions.

Legislative Advocacy Booth-Outside Hall B or Level 1 Concourse

The AAO-HNS is committed to the enactment of legislation that will strengthen the delivery of, and access to, quality healthcare in the United States. We believe that legislative, political, and grassroots advocacy are keys to defining the future of otolaryngology. By participating in these programs, AAO-HNS members are afforded the opportunity to educate their elected officials about their practices and the patients they serve. To learn more, visit one (or both) of the Legislative Advocacy booths, located outside Hall B or on the West Concourse Level 1. (U.S. Members only; International members receive a “free” stamp).

Guidelines Central-Level 2 Concourse

Recently, the Foundation formed a partnership with Guideline Central (GC). GC is a producer of evidence-based quick reference guides in both paper pocket card and mobile and web application formats for healthcare professionals. AAO-HNSF has joined with GC to help develop full text clinical guidelines into quick reference tools. Pocket cards for Bell’s palsy, Tonsillectomy, Tympanostomy Tubes, Sudden Hearing Loss, Improving Voice Outcomes after Thyroid Surgery and Acute Otitis Externa are now available.

Humanitarian Activities-Central Lobby

There are many opportunities to volunteer around the world. Get connected with the right one! To talk with members who have lived this rewarding experience, ask about travel grants, or to pick up resource materials, please visit the Humanitarian Outreach booth or attend the Humanitarian Efforts Forum today from 1:30 pm-3:30 pm in Room 109A.

Member Resources-Central Lobby

Visit the AAO-HNS/F Member Resource Center to become a member or renew your membership dues at this year’s rate! Learn different ways to get involved in the Academy and how you can make a difference in the specialty. Academy staff will be available to share member benefits, take your submissions for the AAO-HNS Passport drawing, and provide you with the latest in Academy member resources.
