“We Are One” in Atlanta at #OTOMTG18

Welcome to Atlanta, host of the AAO-HNSF 2018 Annual Meeting & OTO Experience. “I am thrilled to welcome each of you who have traveled from near and far to be a part of this premier gathering of otolaryngologists from around the world as we celebrate our remarkable specialty through collaboration, friendship, and camaraderie,” said Gavin Setzen, MD, AAO-HNS/F President.

The vibrant city of Atlanta welcomes you.

The next four days offer attendees exclusive access to original research, the opportunity to take part in stimulating and engaging exchanges with otolaryngology-head and neck surgery experts, and the ability to expand professional networks with colleagues from around the world.

“With more than 550 education sessions, the AAO-HNSF Annual Meeting & OTO Experience provides continuous learning opportunities like no other, and for 2018 we have expanded upon those offerings to include some new and dynamic features,” said Mark K. Wax, MD, Annual Meeting Program Coordinator.

In addition to the Expert Series, Panel Presentations, and Scientific Oral Presentations that we enjoy every year, the Annual Meeting offers several new features including Flash Talks, Rapid Poster Presentations, specialty society forums, physician wellness sessions, and the Welcome Ceremony, followed by the President’s Reception, tonight at 6:30 pm.

The OTO Experience, an essential element to the education component of the Annual Meeting, features a comprehensive display of products and services from more than 250 companies. Attendees will experience hands-on learning in the Mobile BioSkills Lab, the ENT Over-the-Counter and the Practice of the Future Pavilions, and more. Don’t miss Dr. Setzen cutting the ribbon and opening the doors of the OTO Experience this morning at 9:30 am. (See page 11 for more on the OTO Experience.)

“One of the extraordinary aspects of the Annual Meeting is the spirit of service and commitment to patient care, science, and education that each and every attendee brings with them. I look forward to spending time with you all over the next few days, as our mutual collaborations strengthen and as we work together to continuously grow together as a specialty,” said Dr. Setzen.
