Otolaryngology Unites in Atlanta

Don’t miss the AAO-HNSF 2018 Annual Meeting & OTO Experience, October 7-10, at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia, where experts from the specialty and the latest science converge.

Healthcare professionals from around the world will converge in Atlanta to share ideas, discuss current practice, and reflect on the Annual Meeting’s theme, “We Are One.”

“This premier gathering of otolaryngologists from around the world celebrates the remarkable collaboration, friendship, and camaraderie that is the bedrock of the relationship between the AAO-HNS/F and the great countries, citizens, and patients that we represent and serve,” said AAO-HNS/F President Gavin Setzen, MD.

“We Are One” is this year’s theme for the Annual Meeting & OTO Experience. Over the course of four days, you will receive exclusive access to original research, take part in stimulating and engaging exchanges with otolaryngology experts, and expand your professional network with colleagues from around the world.

“Continuous learning is fundamental to the practicing otolaryngologist. It is simply in our nature. We love to learn. The AAO-HNSF Annual Meeting & OTO Experience provides continuous learning opportunities like no other,” said Mark K. Wax, MD, Annual Meeting Program Coordinator.

New This Year

The meeting will feature the groundbreaking education sessions, dynamic networking opportunities, and the OTO Experience you know and love, but you won’t want to miss this year’s new features. Flash Talks, Specialty Society Forums, Physician Wellness sessions, and a Botany Walking Tour are just a few of this year’s new highlights.

Another enhancement for the 2018 Annual Meeting is that the President’s Reception Sunday evening will be held immediately following the Welcome Ceremony late Sunday afternoon. All registrants are invited to attend this collegial event at the world-renowned Georgia Aquarium, which also will combine the recognition of the Past Presidents and the International Reception. This event will create more abundant networking opportunities throughout the course of the meeting by bringing attendees together the first day.

“The AAO-HNSF Annual Meeting and education programs are enriched by global participation of our otolaryngology colleagues and partners through active participation and information sharing,” said Dr. Setzen. “Through continued collaboration, friendship, camaraderie, and exchange of scientific information, together we will continue to learn from each other, expand opportunities and horizons, and improve ENT care for our patients worldwide.”
