Help Your Patients Discover How to Be ENT Healthy!

Share the information and resources found on ENThealth.org with your patients to help them better understand their ENT-related condition(s), have informed conversations with you during office and telemedicine visits, and learn tips for staying healthy during challenging times. Here’s what’s available:

  • What’s an ENT?—This page teaches patients about the ENT specialty and what kind of conditions ENT specialists treat.
  • Conditions & Treatments—Scroll through the “Conditions and Treatments” areas to learn about specific ENT conditions.
  • Be ENT Smart—Explore consumer articles and helpful health tips in “Be ENT Smart.”
  • Find an ENT—This search feature helps patients locate an Academy ENT specialist near them.
  • Sitewide Search—Patients can use the magnifying glass search function located under the “Find an ENT” button to type in a specific term (e.g., “allergies”).
  • It’s All Connected—Detailed graphics show patients how the ears, nose, and throat areas of the body are all interrelated.

ENThealth+ Subscription Program: ENThealth+ gives you access to ready-made content from ENThealth.org that has been developed and vetted by clinical experts in the otolaryngology-head and neck surgery specialty. In addition, all materials are published with the patient’s comprehension in mind.

ENThealth+ offers two subscription programs to choose from – ENThealth+ On Demand and Online and ENThealth+ On Demand. Each allows you to offer ENThealth.org content in a way that meets the needs of your practice. Whether via the printed handouts option (On Demand) or via content feeds to your practice’s website (Online), ENThealth+ helps extend your quality patient care. Stop by the booth to learn more.

ENT PAC

The ENT Political Action Committee (ENT PAC) booth will house helpful resources on ENT PAC’s role in advancing the Academy’s advocacy agenda, as well as recognize the AAO-HNS members who have made this work possible through their generous contributions. Attendees will have access to the following resources:

  • ENT PAC “First 50” donor list
  • ENT PAC Wall recognizing all PAC donors
  • ENT PAC FAQ document with further background on the ENT PAC and breakdown of 2020 and 2019 donations
  • ENT PAC Staff will be available to help answer questions and facilitate ENT PAC donations

Legislative and Health Policy Advocacy

The ENT Advocacy in Action booth will highlight the Legislative and Health Policy Advocacy work of the Academy. Attendees will have access to the following resources:

OTO Logic / CME Information

CME Support

Do you have questions related to how to claim CME or AAPA credit? Stop by our booth for hands-on training on how to complete your session evaluations to claim credit, complete the overall evaluation, and how to access your Award Certificate and Certificate of Attendance. It’s important to keep in mind that all evaluations must be completed by midnight (ET), Sunday, October 25, 2020.

Reg-entSM, Research & Quality

Stop by the Reg-ent, Research & Quality booth at the virtual AAO-HNSF Annual Meeting to learn about quality resources for your patients and practice. Staff will be available during Academy Central hours via the booth chat feature to answer your questions about the Reg-ent registry, quality measures, clinical practice guidelines, expert consensus statements, and the Centralized Otolaryngology Research Efforts (CORE) grants program. Staff will share information about the Reg-ent dashboard and its enhanced features and functionality including how Reg-ent participants are building clinical quality pathways that align to patient care and are preserving the future practice of otolaryngology head and neck surgery by contributing data that will advance research in the specialty.  In addition, meeting attendees who stop by the booth will gain access to a special offer to receive 30% off AAO-HNSF guideline pocket guides.
